Anthony Dellanno

One of the original members of the Vietnam Veterans of America - Chapter 510 in Northern New Jersey, Anthony "Tony", Dellanno passed away in August 2013. Tony leaves his wife, Joan and three daughters, as well as a brother, Ron.
Tony's involvment with the Vietnam Veterans of America was truly a passion. Not only was Tony one of the biggest supporters of Chapter 510 and whose involvement in the Annual Golf Outing was responsible for raising tens of thousands of dollars for the Chapter activities, but he also was responsible for building the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Holmdel, NJ by generously donating the services of his company, Dellanno Construction Inc.
You can read more about Tony's involvement in the NJVVM here.
Tony was remembered at the 2014 Veterans Day cermonies at the NJVVM, you can read about it here.
The Chapter has purchased a Paver at the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans Memorial, as shown here.
"Memorials in general, tend to represent a lasting focal point that reminds people of the cost of war in terms of lives and suffering. To me, the Memorial is a way to honor those who didnít return."
Tony Dellanno (speaking about the NJ Vietnam Veterans Memorial)
